A New Chapter for a One in a Million Project — Weaving Calm, Courage & Connection

Every star woven carries a story of courage. ✨

Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that small acts of creativity can bring calm, connection, and hope — even in the busiest or hardest of seasons.

For me, that creative act has always been weaving. Over the years, weaving stars has taught me how to breathe, pause, and reconnect — one loop, one fold, one moment at a time.

Many of you know this journey through the One Billion Stars project, a global movement that began with one star woven in response to violence. Since then, millions of stars have been woven around the world — each one a small light against darkness.

And now, as we honour World Mental Health Month, I’m excited to share that a new chapter is on the horizon. 🌸

We’re reimagining what One Billion Stars can look like in this next season — weaving more space for stillness, courage, and community wellbeing. The new Legacy Page will launch soon, where you’ll be able to read stories, download free resources, and learn simple ways to bring star weaving into your everyday life as a practice of creative calm.

Because when we weave, we don’t just create art — we create connection.
We remind ourselves that healing often begins with a single act of care.

So today, on World Mental Health Day, I invite you to take five minutes to breathe, weave a star, or check in with someone you care about. 🌿

It’s amazing how one small act of creativity can brighten an entire day.

💫 Keep weaving. Keep connecting. Keep sharing food that nourishes our souls and bellies.

Happy Weaving  💛
